Sligo Volunteer Centre

Established in 2007, Sligo Volunteer Centre celebrates its tenth birthday in 2017, as Sligo hosts the European Volunteering Capital.

Located in Sligo town, the centre provides a link between people interested in volunteering and non-profit groups looking for volunteers. Through their own marketing channels and networks, they advertise for volunteers on behalf of 300+ non-profit groups in Sligo and refer interested people to these groups.

The centre is affiliated with Volunteer Ireland, the National Volunteer Development Agency and a representative and support body for over 21 Volunteer Centres in Ireland.
