The Western Drama Festival is hosting the All Ireland Confined Drama Finals in St Brigids Hall Theatre from Friday 21stto Saturday 29th April. The nine groups who have achieved the highest nomination points at Drama Festivals throughout the 32 counties during February and March will compete at the Finals for All Ireland Honours.
Large numbers off drama enthusiasts will converge on the town during this time. It will be the third occasion on which the Western Drama Festival have been awarded the Finals by the Amateur Drama Council of Ireland, a very distinctive honour indeed for this historic festival.
