 This seminar is of interest to Community Alert and Neighbourhood Watch Groups, Residents groups Community Development Associations, Text Alert groups, public and statutory representatives and members of the public.

The focus of the event is to provide information to empower community groups to draw down funding from the CCTV allocation. Sgt Pat Conway will present what is required of a community group that wishes to make application. Manorhamilton Co.Leitrim have been down the road of installing CCTV and are sharing their experience on the night. There will be a question and answer session. Many groups have reported difficulty in accessing Hi Viz supplies …this is an opportunity for groups to meet Louise McKeever Road Safety Promotion Officer.  Information provision on community CCTV and availability of Hi viz items are actions of Co Sligo Joint Policing Plan.

Changes in the Seniors Alert provision will also be detailed with supplier present to answer any queries.
